Google+ Tips

The real participation comes with sharing a blog post to G+ using the party's hashtag and engaging with others who are also sharing posts from this party.Interaction and engaging with others on G+ will bring you the most success!

You will notice some posts have a very large picture associated with their post and others have a tiny picture. To increase your chances of being shared, post a photo along with your post link and NOT the tiny one that gets posted automatically with the link. The bigger and more clear your photo, the better chance of it being shared because those are the posts that G+ users want to share with their followers.

For the 3rd party my favourite post was Zan´s post for her page Flourishing at home. She created some awesome crafts for preschoolers with a Frozen theme. My girl is too old for those but that is what nieces are for! ;)

Let´s see each other Face to Face

Last week we did our first The Ultimate Party on Facebook, and we really enjoyed it! Thank you to all my new followers. I added quite a few pages myself too.

However, with anytime you do something for the first time, there may be some changes that need to be made.

We found that the hashtag idea did not work as well on Facebook as it did on Google+, so we are changing how we do the party this week. You can still add the hashtag #theultimateparty to your posts so the hashtag is branded to this party, but it is not necessary! And you no longer have to search by hashtag to find posts. Let´s simplify.

I´m a born planner so I bring you a new plan for the second half of 2014: a brand new party starting on Tuesdays, and I get to be a co-host for the very first one!

Whenever a post is liked, commented on, or shared, that post is boosted -- FOR FREE! Facebook weights shares the highest, then comments, and likes are weighted the lowest. Here is how this party works:

• Link up at a host's or co-host's blog. Then follow all the hosts and co-hosts on Facebook (and any other social media you want to follow them on!) The hosts and co-host are also the first seven people listed on the linky below.
